A food tracker or diary is one of the best ways to really learn your own body language. How the food you eat, affects how you feel and look. Clue in to you feel and look based on what you eat. what you are doing with the your diet, emotions and appetite. My favorite tool is the Lose It! app — and a group of us are going to do a 10-day challenge.

A FEW CHALLENGE TIPS:

  • just plain old smart work. I wanted to see if I could do it on my own and started this group to help. During the first 5 weeks of 2014 I lost an additional 11 pounds and 2% body fat. My plan is my own and I’ll share what works with you, but what you do is up to you. This is a place for positive encouragement and we welcome anyone who is ready to change to or maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please feel free to invite others to this group—this is a closed (private) group where people can safely express their challenges and triumphs. The free version gets you everything you need, I only went to paid when I got super nerdy about tracking hydration and macronutrients.
