What are Essential Oils?
Essential Oils are natural aromatic compounds found in seeds, stems, bark, roots, resins, rinds, flowers and leaves of plants, extracted and distilled for health benefits. They work with the body to address issues and root causes on a cellular level.
Essential Oils are highly concentrated and in most cases they are hundreds of times more concentrated than a dried herb itself.
For example: 1 drop of peppermint essential oil is equivalent to 28 cups of peppermint tea!
Essential oils are easy to use:
- Aromatically - when diffused or inhaled, can be very stimulating, calming, or soothing; diffusing essential oils can also cleanse and purity the air
- Internally - certain essential oils have a rich culinary history and can be used as dietary supplements for targeted wellness
